Suave has a branding problem. They're a punchline to every online beauty joke, with an extremely low brand sentiment. But the surprising thing is that once people try the product, they love it. Our task was to get people to try it... so we went undercover as a premium new hair care line and tricked a whole bunch of beauty bloggers into becoming #SuaveBelievers.

Step 1:

We found 20 of Instagram's trendiest beauty junkies, rebottled & rebranded Suave as its cooler alter ego, Evaus, then invited them to try the next big thing in hair care.

To make it seem as real as possible, we created an Evaus landing page and Instagram account.

Step 2:

We invited the beauty bloggers to set under the facade of a "brand ambassador casting."

After capturing their authentic love for Evaus, we revealed the truth. It was Suave all along.

Step 3

We repeated the experiment to a wider audience with a long-form video that took viewers on a similar journey to becoming #SuaveBelievers too.
